One cannot call an image directly in wordpress in your theme files. For instance I cannot actually place an image with the command When the page is displayed, nothing happens. I like to design wordpress themes and change my site look, sometimes as often as twice in a month. To help me with this,  I have incorporated a plugin called theme-switcher.
